Making the World a More Loving World by loving “the least of these”

Plymouth United Church of Christ is a fully handicapped accessible, air-conditioned, heated, carpeted, well-lit building nestled in a beautiful tree-filled campus with plenty of wildlife and a large parking lot that fit approximately 120 vehicles.

Thank you for thinking of Plymouth for the needs of your civic group, club, special event, or whatever has drawn you to this page. See below for information on our space, and please contact our church office for more details and to schedule time to see the building to see if you can meet your needs.

You need not be a member to use our building for a wedding or funeral (see above links for those), nd we also open our building for use by other groups, religious or secular, or for a one-time event or on a continuing basis.

Our Sanctuary

Our sanctuary can fit 150 guests on comfortable chairs, plus another 60 or so with overflow seating into the fellowship room. We use chairs instead of pews, and our space is flexible. We have a professional multi-track sound system with plenty of microphones and other equipment.

Fellowship Room

Our fellowship room can be set up to seat 120-130 at tables, or up to 180 without tables.

Smaller Rooms

We have a few other smaller rooms that hold up to 15 people around tables, or 25-30 on chairs.

Fees

We have a wide range of scalable fees depending on the amount of space you need and amount of time, and whether you are a non-profit group or a for-profit business:

Non-Profit as below, but this can be reduced to zero depending on your intent and our partnership with you:
Fellowship Room: $100 for 2 hours, and $25 per hour after
Sanctuary for 2 hours: $100 for 2 hours, and $25 per hour after (plus $25 per hour for the sound system if we need to staff someone)
Small rooms: $20 per hour
For-Profit use is 30% of the fees you charge your clients or charge for your event, and/or:
Fellowship Room: $250 for 2 hours, and $100 per hour after
Sanctuary for 2 hours: $250 for 2 hours, and $100 per hour after (plus $50 per hour for the sound system if we need to staff someone at the board)
Small rooms: $50 per hour

Please do contact us with your needs, and we can devise a custom arrangement that will fit your needs, timing, and budget.

Please note that since we are a church, priority will be given for weddings, funerals, and other events in the life of the church. We are also an election polling place, so on election days our building cannot be used for any other purpose.
